This uniform dress belonged to a WAC, woman, nurse. This uniform includes it's white color waist belt, and a manila color paper envelope that is for the removable buttons. The museum added to this uniform a pair of commerical stockings, and a white color with 1 black color stripe ward hat.
Comments from the Curator:
We acquired 3 really nice female, white color nurse's uniforms some time back, and this is the last one left. The ca is 1966 dated, is age yellowed and has the rarely foun black color rank stripe. Overall this is a very nice un-stained nurse's ensemble.
