Description

These woman's, clunky high heeled shoes probably date anywhere from the 1940's to the 1960's or so period.  They have a 2 1/4 inch box heel as is very common with woman's work shoes throughout those periods.  These shoes are made out of all leather and are of a black color.  They were sold by "Red Cross Shoes", and have this interesting little caveat printed inside:  "This Product Has No Connection Whatever With The American National Red Cross" (OH, how brave of then to cover their......).  We conservatively condition rate these shoes as in a HIGH GOOD CONDITION, as they only show the usual wear and tear and scuffing, etc.  The heel tips are also in nice shape, which is rather rare to find these days.  These shoes would be absolutely perfect for a civilian woman dressed in a paramilitary uniform exhibit and/or in street clothes.  We have seen such work shoes advertised in W.W.II period "Sears" and "Montgomery Ward" type catalogs of the 1940's/1950's periods.
