The Tirpitz was a German battleship from World War II that launched on April 1, 1939. It is the twin to the battleship "Bismarck" and the largest Kriegsmarine unit in 1941-1944. It reached combat readiness in September 1941. It was sunk on November 12, 1944 near Norwegian Troms by the British Air Force. The Ship model created by Cobi is manufactured in 1:300 scale. It has nearly 2000 blocks and measures an astounding 84.5cm long. It faithfully reproduces the proportions of the historic ship and preserves all its essential elements including the original camouflage. It has numerous moving parts such as propellers, rudders, turrets, and gun barrels that can be raised and lowered. The set also includes an aesthetic black display stand with a plate on which the name of the ship is printed.
